I would like to express my view regarding the recent sale of our property. Amelia Mills our sales agent I must say is a top salesperson. She exceeded our expectations beyond what we had expected. Her communication, friendliness and can do attitude contributed to our very fast sale of the property. Not even 2 weeks and we had our Sold sign outside. Even after the sale, Amelia has kept in contact with us just to be sure we were happy with her service and just to say Hi! First National you are very fortunate to have someone like Amelia and I hope she will continue to bring you her good sales skills to your company. I wish her well in her sales career. In December 2006, on advice from our property manager, we had our properties valued and assessed for sale, with a view to rationalizing our business. A well-presented, easily read set of documents prepared by Amelia Mills, arrived within a surprisingly short time to assist with making appropriate business decisions. My wife and I made the decision to sell three properties in Rotorua in February 2007. It was March before we instructed First National in Rotorua to begin the process of selling those properties. Amelia Mills was assigned to sell our properties and she immediately rang us to inform us that she would be handling this matter for us and giving us phone numbers etc. so that we could readily communicate with her at all times. Ease of communication in this situation is of great importance to both myself and my wife. Within three weeks of being handed three not necessarily attractive properties to sell Amelia had obtained conditional offers on all three properties at prices that were well within our acceptable range. Due to circumstances well beyond Amelia’s control, two of those sales proved to be very difficult, as the buyer had failed to properly secure his finance. Amelia then persisted on our behalf, negotiating the on selling of one of these houses and the refinancing of the buyer for the other. This was difficult and time consuming but at no time did I ever feel that Amelia or any of the other Rotorua First National staff wanted to just quit and walk away, as was their right, from the rather messy situation which they were dealing with. The whole matter was finally resolved to everyone’s satisfaction. I am delighted to have the opportunity to recommend the services of Amelia Mills as a real estate agent to anyone wishing to either buy or sell a house in her area.

My husband and I have purchased and sold properties in Rotorua through Amelia Mills. We have found Amelia to be professional in all dealings, providing excellent communication throughout. Amelia listed to our requirements and with all transactions dealt efficiently and with discretion. We would be happy to use Amelia in the future for other property dealings. (While we were very happy to receive FLYBUYS points in these transactions – it was not the main consideration in choosing First National. It was because of Amelia that we dealt with First National).

This was our first time selling a property so had no prior experience or exceptions regarding being a seller. We did appreciate Amelia’s communication throughout the process it was nice to be kept in the loop and helped keep our confidence up that we would sell our property. The property sold reasonably quickly which we are sure is down to all the effort that Amelia put into it. Thanks for much.

Re: Our sale of 21b Russell Crescent; we were more than happy with Amelia Mills handling the sale. She kept us up to do date with what was happening much more than when the house was listed with another agency. She was great at helping me find someone to do repairs required, also keeping the buyer interested, when we found out about the house not being signed off properly. I thought I’d lose the sale at that point. I also thought First Nationals feedback re open homes better than the other agency. P.S I’ve known Amelia for years but it does not make any difference to what I’ve written.

I first put my section forward to Liz Brake she kept me informed on progress for 3 months, but the price we had was too high. I left the section in her hands and lowered the price. I met Amelia at an open home early 2015, she was friendly. Over the next twelve months she kept in touch with me. I was not ready at that time to put my house on the market.
